Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts step by step

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. wash fresh brussel sprouts.
  3. cut off brown stem of each sprout and remove any yellowing leaves.
  4. cut each sprout in half lengthwise.
  5. in a large bowl place sprouts and pour over olive oil.
  6. toss until sprouts are well covered.
  7. add salt, pepper, basil and garlic to taste.
  8. toss thoroughly until uniform coverage.
  9. strain and place sprouts flat side up on cookie sheet.
  10. sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of brussel sprouts.
  11. cook at 400°F for 30 to 35 minutes until sprouts are roasted and parmesan becomes crispy.
  12. melt butter and drizzle over brussel sprouts to taste.
  13. serve and enjoy!.
